Diamond in the valley
Loved our experience, we try to visit the family grave at least twice a year and then drop into the pub. This time they were serving food and said we can do only two meals at a time, this we didn’t mind as we love supporting local businesses.
The owner was really friendly and had great conversations with him and when the food arrived WOW, three of us had pie and one had ham, eggs and chips. The portions were massive (we weren’t going home hungry) and I have to say the steak in the pie was so tender, best we had ever had ... We seriously could have stayed in the pub all day. we were felt welcomed by the locals as much as the owners, so thank you for that lovely experience and we will return.
